About The Fiction Kitchen
Located at 2431 Crabtree Blvd Ste 103, Raleigh, NC 27604, The Fiction Kitchen operates as a vegetarian serving Raleigh in North Carolina. This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Raleigh is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Raleigh follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

My wife and I were visiting Raleigh for the first time from Houston and discovered this restaurant. Weβve eaten at vegan restaurants all over the country and this is probably the tastiest and most savory meal Iβve had in years. If youβre vegan and can afford a plane ticket, get to Raleigh now and eat here. Service and atmosphere great too!

We went with a party of one vegetarian and 3 regular meat eaters. Everyone left full and very happy with the food and service! The new location is really nice, and the drinks were very fun too. Highly recommend for anyone, not just vegans!

We ordered the peanut noodles and the risotto, and we actually enjoyed the flavors of both dishes. The taste was good overall. However, the wait time for our main courses was quite long β about 45 minutes from the time we ordered. We had already finished our appetizers (which we intentionally ate slowly), emptied our drinks, and still waited another 15β20 minutes for our entrΓ©es to arrive. It may have been a busy night, but the delay was noticeable. Unfortunately, my peanut noodles were overcooked. They were so soft that they would almost fall apart when I picked them up with my chopsticks. I just didn't have the heart to complain since I just really wanted to go home. The grilled tofu, though, was very good β it almost tasted like grilled chicken! Our server was attentive for the most part. The chef (or possibly the owner) also came to greet us, which we appreciated. I would just gently suggest being mindful about physical contact with young children. She hugged our toddler, and while it may have been well-intentioned, not all parents are comfortable with that, especially with someone they just met. We were seated near the door, and it was quite cold. If you're visiting during

I stopped here while traveling and can say I love every aspect of it. The place is cute and everyone is a vibe. Both ladies that helped me in the bar were super nice and I didn't feel like I was sitting alone. π The food was amazing. I'm not vegan, but eat vegan with family members who are and didn't miss any of my typical items. Everything had so much flavor. The lions mane ragoon was phenomenal. I feel in love with the chocolate ganache dessert. π

Love this place! Delicious local homemade vegan food and superb service with a great eclectic vibe. I ordered the specials - cashew cream of mushroom soup and Farmers Market pot pie. My husband ordered the Carolina BBQ sandwich and fries. We topped it off with the pumpkin cheesecake and tres leches. Everything was delicious. I canβt recommend this restaurant enough. Donβt miss out on the specials!
